Move over leather, fur is Bailey’s choice of fabric next season featuring on tops, cuffing, hemming and delicious coats. Leather does still make an appearance though in piping on padded macs, and on the trimmings of dresses.

I love the very chic, vibrant checked coats as well as the long sleeved shift dresses, and if you’re worried about the fur getting wet, Burberry is one step ahead as the finale of the show saw the models unite on the runway wearing matching black trimmed perspex capes over their coats as a flurry of snow fell onto them. Watching this made me warm inside!

Like a lot of fashion lovers out there I spent last week pouring over the photos from LFW, and watching the designers stream their shows live across the internet. This is something I am very grateful for and I am so glad that fashion brands are finally realising how doing this can have such a great impact on their brand.

Also, with the fashion editors, assistants, designers and celebrities ‘tweeting’ from the front row, I can almost admit that I didn’t feel sad that I wasn’t at the shows myself. A dream that I have had for a very long time!
