As a subscriber, I always get my copy of ELLE magazine early which, as you can imagine, I love! February’s issue arrived on my doorstep today and I can’t stop looking at the cover - it is stunning. Dakota Fanning is wearing a dress from the Louis Vuitton SS12 collection, which was one of my favourites during Paris Fashion week. Her make-up is simple, yet flawless and I have very serious hair envy!

What I also look forward to when the February issues come out, is the SS12 advertising campaigns. Looking through the magazine, I can see some very beautiful ones by Chanel (they have 10 different shots in the front of the magazine!) and Mulberry which, I will be posting about as it was shot in Brighton by my favourite photographer, Tim Walker (so gutted I missed them shooting that!) I’ll have a closer look later and see if there are any others that catch my eye.

I also can’t wait to pour over The Runway Edit that comes with this months issue. I need to remind myself how gorgeous Spring/Summer is going to be.

I am now well and truly in the Christmas mood! Presents have been wrapped and I am off to see my best friend for our yearly Christmas lunch. Then, it’s off to the pub for the annual Christmas Brighton brood reunion!

Next week, apart from seeing family and loved ones, I will be spending time on my sofa watching my favourite films, chilling out and shopping the post-Christmas sales.

There’s a new fashion label in town and it is gorgeous!

Paper has been set up by designers Lea Carreno (ex-Tommy Hilfiger), Kelly Townsend (ex-Temperley) and Philippa Thackeray (ex-lawyer), the collection provides gorgeous, trophy pieces for women at fairly affordable prices.

The AW 11 collection includes boxy wool jackets and coats, beautiful silk blouses and a figure-flattering wool-blend maxiskirt.
